I've heard about Starcraft, Warcraft, Counterstrike, etc.
Any other popular ones that are addictive (strategy type games would be good)?

Personally? The Sims 2
Gameplay could be dull if your creativity is lacking, however the content is amazing.. if you know where to download from.
Pokemon games are the most addictive foe most people, but I hate Pokemon so I don't even play them. Personaly it would be games like Sims 2 and Animal Crossing for me.What are some of the most addictive computer games around?

I'm not a video game kind of guy. I can't stand those things. But I'm absolutely addicted to Pokemon. I can't stop playing this stupid game. I spend hours trying to catch them all. I connect with other players around the world to trade. I just got a male Ralts today! I'm so happy!!!! Next I'm looking for a female Snorunt. Oh, I'm so excited!!!!!
You set your own strategy in Second Life (http://www.secondlife.com)
If you like strategy the Civilization (Sid Meier's) franchise is highly addictive. The latest game at the moment is Civilization IV. It has a RISK like set up, various ways that are non-combat to win (the united nations, space race, culture, ect) and can be played online or single player.
My dad, my boyfriend and my sister even play this game. I tend to prefer RPGs (world of warcraft, oblivion) but sometimes I just crave a good civ game.
A must try if you haven't played a civ game before!
stick rpg would be mine
