Definitely. I have mine running tons of games from before 2003 about. You can even get some games after that running but only on the lowest settings. As for Zoo Tycoon, and GTA I am pretty sure they will work because I got roller coaster tycoon working on mine.
all you gotta do is check the specs for the system and the games.

if you beat the "minimum" the game will load. but it may run pretty badly if you're still well below the "recommended" level.

It might run Zoo Tycoon GTA 1, etc, old games, but don't expect it to run any of the new games. Its called a netbook for no other reason than that its basically made for you so you can surf the web and type/chat and nothing more.
