What are some good video games?

I have the ps3, 360 and a PC. I am looking for some good RPG type games with good character creation. I reallly love the Mass Effect series, so something similar in style would be awesome! Also looking for some good co-op games or scary games (fatal frame, silent hill etc.) I am NOT a fan of the Halo series, everyone keeps suggesting that game.What are some good video games?
Well, for PC...what I would do is search around on Steam and see if you find anything that appeals to you and then check out some reviews and then buy the game. There is such a huge library available right at your fingertips...the most you would have to do is probably go to a nearby store and buy a prepaid visa.







If you like scary games, there is no reason not to own Amnesia: The Dark Descent. It is quite honestly the scariest game I've ever played. You want a game that will wake up the neighbours from your screaming? This will do it.



You can also try Penumbra, which was made by the same developers as Amnesia.

Fallout 3 (RPG)
If you like RPGs like Mass Effect, Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2 should be at the top of the list, since they were made by the same developer (Bioware). After that, I would recommend the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion or Fallout 3.



The realm of co-op games is depressingly slim these days. Borderlands is a good RPS with solid gameplay, but lacking in story development (which you might value if you like Mass Effect). Army of Two is a few years old, but with good co-op play. Resident Evil 5 would be worth looking into, as it's both survival horror and co-op. Also for horror, I would suggest Dead Space 1 and 2 and Condemned 1 and 2.What are some good video games?
Get Borderlands game of the year edition, comes with addons, its a shooter/rpg, hours of game play, lots of main quests and side quests and you can drive in the game, tons of weapons, its open world/free roam, you can play single player or multiplayer...its awesome thats what i'm playing right now, I play it on pc and got it from amazon. Go get it....:) It reminds me of Fallout 3 in alot of ways super fun. Amazon has it for pc, xbox 360, and ps3 if you can't find it at gamestop. :)What are some good video games?
i really enjoyed dragon age for the pc, was a long game to play with excellent character interaction, a story line, tons of fun quests, and the world locations were all different. dragon age 2 for 360.. not so much.

got alan wake, but its play is confusing to me right now.. someday i hope to be better and finish it.. its seems scary.

i hear yah on the whole halo thing.. ppl keep trying to get me to play it to.. have it.. came with the system.. but just dont care to.

borderlands is a really good 1 or 2 player rpg game where you go around killing all these guys and leveling up. my friend has it and i go over there all the time to play with him. it is very addicting and i love it

The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (5 games of Elder Scrolls if i remember correctly, Oblivion being the best.
Deus Ex (Old game from 2000 or the new one that arrives in August.

WoW. The character creation isn't great at the start, but as you go through the game you customize your character more. Awesome game (y)
