What first games should I get for my new XBOX 360?

I'm just getting a 360 and want to know what are really fun games - I'm not into war-type games, and online/offline multiplayer is a plus.What first games should I get for my new XBOX 360?
Assassin's Creed, Guitar Hero 3, Gears of War, Rock Band, Halo 3 (Even though you don't like war games, Halo 3 is amazing and your bound to love it, unless you really don't think it's that cool), GTA4

Xbox 360 has an amazing selection of games, just look around at Gamestop and see if anything catches your eye.
DEFFINATELY guitar hero 3 %26amp; rockband. they are totally fun to play by yourself or with a few friends. i would recomend halo 3 which is personally my fav but you might not like it if you dont like war type games. but if your into running around %26amp; killing people with cool guns %26amp; machines than this is totally tha game for you (:What first games should I get for my new XBOX 360?
