mostly looking for RPG type games. Im getting Illusion of Gaia and i already have Secret of Evermore for example of game types im into..What are some old games for NES or SNES that are similar to Dragon warrior or Final Fantasy?
For SNES:
You have Final Fantasy II and III, which really are IV and VI respecitively.
Other great games include: Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy Mystic Quest (really is a lot different than the core Final Fantasy Games), to some extent Legend of Zelda a Link to the Past. Also, there is the Breath of Fire 1 and 2, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Earthbound, and the Ultima Games. I am a big fan of Chron Trigger, Secret of Mana, Mario RPG and Earthbound. They are all amazing games.
For NES:
You have Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior 1-4.
To some extent Zelda II: Adventures of Link is a bit RPG as you do gain experience and cast magic.
I really cannot think of any other ones on the NES right now.
