What are some good PS2/PS3 Horror type games?

I've played "the suffering" 1 %26amp; 2, currently doing resistance. But what are some other good horror survival type games. This is for an adult so any rating is fine. I've heard some say about Silent Hill, but other's say its slow paced.



I really like the type that can toggle between first and third person. The more gore, the better.What are some good PS2/PS3 Horror type games?

What are some good PS2/PS3 Horror type games?
Try laying F.E.A.R: First Encounter Assault Recon. It is one of the best horror/fps game since 2006. Although this is only first person shooter, it has a very nice gameplay and the enemy's A.I makes the game challenging. The storyplot is also good and have some twist in it.



The game isn't like your normal monster jump out in front of your face like resident evil series but more like psychological horror where the horror enters the mind of the player. The main villain in this game is a little girl dressed in red.

go for silent hill, i think its a good horror game. sure its slow paced but is creepy as hell. Get #3, its the best one. or if your looking for some action with your horror, try resident evil 4. Voted best game for the year. and you get exclusive content.
