Does anyone know any exploration type games without the need to grind levels or XP?

I used to play WoW for 4 years and MMORPGs in general. Although they involve traveling and exploring (which I liked), they are also focused on grinding levels and XP. I would like to find a game which is purely exploration. No grinding of levels, experience or gold. Does anyone know if such a game exists?

theres no such game that has exploring and no money involved if u want an open world game where u can find unlockables and things lik that get assassins creed 2 theres things u can puck up for achievements or trophies and things lik that

or u can try infamous or prototype there open world games in which you can find different things that get you achievements all around the city and things lik that

The only game I can think of that is more exploration than anything else would be a game like Myst and it's expansions.



Outside of that, it sounds like you might want to start looking into detective style games (CSI, Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew, etc) or what are sometimes called "Sandbox" or "Open World" games. Unfortunately, outside of the CSI style games, most games do involve "levelling" in one form or another, even if it is simply called Scientific or Technological Research or something else.



If you like RTS type games, Sins of a Solar Empire and Masters of Orion III might be to your liking.
