What could be improved about Real Time Strategy Games?

Whether it's a board type game like Warhammer or a video game like Starcraft or Warcraft, what do you feel could be improved about the gameplay? More/different quests? Amounts of units per each faction? More factions to play as? Unique items/objects/monsters? Anything you would change about existing games that you would like to see in a new game? Would having a new controller specifically designed for the game help or hinder? Digital or real life gaming? Thanks! What could be improved about Real Time Strategy Games?
Originality. Since playing Age of Mythology which is quite a while ago no RTS has been good enough for me. They all offer the same options, in different ways, but still I think if there was an amazing concept, setting and a good story I would play it.What could be improved about Real Time Strategy Games?
Less micro-managing which is something Dawn of War I feel did very well with the squad system. Kohan 2 was also like that but Kohan 2 kind of sucked unlike Dawn Of War. Nothing sucks more than having to control 90+ guys at a time though.

Yes, originality is always a bonus. I could really go for a steampunk RTS, I think that would be refreshing.

More focus on heros like with Warlords Battlecry 3 would be nice.

What could be improved with Warhammer fantasy/40k/table gaming for real? Less expensive, rebalanced for smaller fights a la Mordeheim, and basically just make the game quicker and more accesible to casual players. I got out of both Warhammer and Warhammer 40k just because it was so time consuming and expensive. My brother still plays though. What could be improved about Real Time Strategy Games?
The graphics.
